We´re collaborating with QOMPENDIUM magazine on a piece for BOOM SHIRT project @ Estoril Fashion Art festival. Right as i write, Kimberly Lloyd is tracing lines onto the shirt, after which it´s being sent to us to work on. We have 6 days, before the shirt is sent back to Paulo in Lisbon for the final customisation.
Notes by Paulo Lima, (Curator Boom Shirt)
The project utilizes the concept of the white shirt as the starting point for practically everything. Each Teviz shirt was put into circulation, traveling onto three different addresses, onto three different people and three unrepeatable points of view over the world and over each shirt, in particular. Together they make the creative exchange program we call BOOMSHIRT, that will conclude in 50 unassailable pieces.
Each Boomshirt was sent by mail to each Estoril FashionArt Festival invite. Alongside with the package, only three instructions: Think. Act. Send. A repeated cycle that translates into three aesthetic interventions per shirt. A come-and-go involving 150 participants.
The result of so many turns of Boomshirts' creative gear will be hanged out to dry on Estoril FashionArt Festivals' hanger, at Largo Luís de Camões, from the 4th to the 11th July.
